The same spot sixty years later

This is Gwrych Castle, Abergele, North Wales. The first shot is taken by an unknown person in 1951, the second is taken by me in 2012 in the exact same spot. Sixty-one years between the two.

    1. Yes the place is almost completely falling down now. Tragic because it used to be magnificent. I used to go there as a child to see jousting competitions and the place was thriving. I took a load more photos recently some of which I’ll post soon. I love ‘then and now’ pics which show exactly the same place from exactly the same angle but with a big chunk of time in between.
